Tillspark Business
Terms for businesses
Last updated October 16, 2026
These terms cover Tillspark Business, the app shops use to sell, run tables and the kitchen, take bookings, manage stock and run their team. Shoppers using the Tillspark app are covered by the terms for shoppers.
Earvin Ryan Esajas runs Tillspark from the Netherlands (“we”). If you use Tillspark Business for a business, you confirm you may agree to these terms on its behalf.
The service
Tillspark Business is in early access. Features may change while we work on it with the first shops, and we tell you in the app when something important changes. We will tell you before any fee applies, and you can stop using Tillspark Business before it does.
Your responsibilities
- Accurate information: your business name, address and tax details appear on every receipt. Keep them correct.
- Tax and fiscal rules: you are responsible for meeting the fiscal and record-keeping rules in your country. The built-in fiscal journal is not certified for regulated fiscal systems; take professional advice before relying on it.
- Compliance tools are aids: the allergen, temperature-log and similar tools help you keep records. They do not certify that you comply.
- Your team: you decide who has access, with which role and PIN, and you are responsible for what is done under your shop’s accounts. Train your staff on voids and refunds.
- Customer consent: ask your customers before you enter their email address or phone number, and before you send them marketing.
Your customers’ data
The data your shop keeps about its own customers and team belongs to your shop, and your shop decides how it is used. We process it only to provide Tillspark Business to you, on your instructions. How we handle it is described in the privacy notice for businesses. If you need a processing agreement (verwerkersovereenkomst), ask us at privacy@tillspark.com.
Payments
Card payments run through Stripe or Adyen, under the terms you accept with them when you set up card payments. They pay out to you; we never handle your customers’ card numbers. Cash sales work without them.
What you may sell and show
You may sell any lawful product or service, including alcohol and other age-restricted products where the law allows, and you are responsible for checking customers’ age. Sexually explicit images, text and nudity are not allowed anywhere in Tillspark: not in your store page, your products, your photos or your posts. Adult shops may use Tillspark with listings that are not explicit. We remove content that breaks these rules, and reported content is reviewed.
Fair use
Do not use Tillspark for fraud, spam, unlawful surveillance or unlawful content, and do not try to get around security or reach other businesses’ or customers’ data.
Online orders
When a customer orders online and does not collect, or orders fraudulently, you can receive the facts of that order (what was ordered, the customer’s account email, the details they gave at checkout, and when and from which network it was placed) to recover your direct costs or to report it. You are responsible for using those facts lawfully. We do not give legal advice or guarantee that costs can be recovered.
Availability and liability
We work to keep Tillspark Business available, but we provide it as it is. Card payments need an internet connection; cash sales made offline are kept on the device and synced when the connection returns. We are not liable for indirect loss, lost profit or lost data, except where it is caused by our intent or gross negligence.
Ending
You can stop using Tillspark Business at any time and ask us to close your account (see deleting a business account). Export your sales and tax records first. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms, and will tell you why.
Changes
We may update these terms. When we do, we change the date at the top of this page and tell you in the app if the change matters to you.
Law and contact
Dutch law applies, and disputes go to the competent court in the Netherlands. Questions go to business@tillspark.com.
